growth..growth....growth........growth................growth................................growth.................................................................growth.................................................................................................................................growth does not bring us closer to each other


While the media bombards us with endless news of war, terror, crime, drugs and the latest scientific discovery about the dangers of eating the food that was yesterdays super food, we wake in the morning in a state of fear wondering what we need to think, act and feel. So we iron our clothes, make sure we eat breakfast and set off to the days assigned duties so that we don't become destitute. And when the economic forecast of the day washes unchallenged over our senses we mindlessly accept that the free market capitalist paradigm is the only saviour from an inevitable slide into global chaos.
